Founded in 2008, Crystal Plastic (PLP) started from a small white stone mining and processing enterprise in Quynh Hop, Nghe An has grown to become the first enterprise in Vietnam with a comprehensive business model. from the exploitation of raw stone CaCO3 to grind to process super fine CaCO3 powder to the finished product – CaCO3 plastic Filler Masterbatch.
In the period of 2014 – 2016, capturing information about the Government’s preferential policies, Crystal Plastic (PLP) chose to build a factory in a strategic location: – Dinh Vu Port Industrial Park, Hai Phong , where the company has been granted an investment certificate for CaCO3 superfine powder factory and CaCO3 Filler Masterbatch, packaging … with a capacity of 150,000 tons of CaCO3 ultrafine powder annually and 96,000 tons / five CaCO3 Filler Masterbatch resins.
Filler Masterbatch is a plastic additive filler, CaCO3 based filler widely used in the plastic industry to change various properties of substrate or polymer. This is a special formula by blending polyolefin with super-fine Calcium Carbonate during the plastic injection process, in order to reduce the cost of plastic products and increase the value of CaCO3 stone resources.
CaCO3 Filler Masterbatch is widely used for industrial and household plastic products such as Producing ceiling panels – frames – plastic doors; Producing PVC pipes and plastic accessories; Producing electric cables (Polyolefin plastic); Producing films, PE fibers or PP bags and many other applications.
CaCO3 Filler Masterbatch is an eco-friendly product, favored by many advanced countries in the world and preferred to replace primary plastic. “Crystal Plastic (PLP) is one of the pioneers in the production of Filler Masterbatch.”

Crystal Plastic (PLP) has a charter capital of VND 150 billion. In 2015 Crystal Plastic (PLP) completed the installation of a production line of 150,000 tons of CaCO3 ultrafine stone powder, and by the end of 2016, the installation and production of four Filler Masterbatch plastic production lines were completed. Since then, 2016 Crystal Plastic (PLP) revenue has increased 4 times compared to 2015.
In the first 6 months of 2017, Crystal Plastic (PLP) achieved revenue of 146 billion, more than 2 times higher than the revenue of 2016 with a profit before (and after) tax of 24.45 billion. Crystal Plastic (PLP) products are exported throughout the Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia, etc. Especially in the Chinese market, Crystal Plastic (PLP) achieved a significant market share and was highly appreciated by customers.
This result is thanks to 4 plastic resin production lines of Crystal Plastic (PLP) which are operating with a designed capacity of 4,000 tons / month. It is expected that Crystal Plastic (PLP) will continue to increase its capacity by the end of 2017 to more than 9,000 tons / month.
According to Mr. Duong Quang Thang – General Director of Pha Le Plastics (PLP), the Company is exempted from corporate income tax for 4 years completely (from 2016), a 50% reduction for the next 9 years, a 50% reduction for taxes. personal income; Import tax exemption for imported goods as stipulated in Article 16 of the Law on Export Tax and other incentives of the Vietnamese government.
